Change: Desire and Fear
Posted on 3 September, 2014 at 14:50 |
Have you ever noticed that when you want to change something in your life, resistance shows up? You have made a decision to make the positive change whether it is regarding your relationship, your eating habits, or any other aspect of your life and suddenly you feel immobilized, incapable of creating the change you sincerely want.
Many of us then come to a conclusion that there is something wrong with us, that we are weak-willed or defective in some way. This thought restricts our forward movement even further. What I would like for you to know is that THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU. Ok, I didn't mean to scream at you, but I do want to get your attention. There is nothing wrong with you. It is a natural phenomenon that is happening. There is a system built into our brain that resists change, that wants to maintain the status quo.
I am going to refer you to an article to read more on this topic. You can find the article at:

I will be writing more on this topic. Please check back.
Let yourself experience a wonderful day!
